God's Golden Acre

God’s Golden Acre (GGA) is a non-profit organization near Durban,
South Africa that supports and cares for children who have been
orphaned or abandoned as a result of AIDS-related diseases and
violence. GGA currently provides a home for 74 children and also
operates a rural outreach program to help alleviate the pain and
destruction caused by AIDS in their local province of Kwa-Zulu Natal.
Outreach projects include providing monthly food packages, paying for school fees, building homes, and running youth soccer and netball
leagues.

Rather than simply putting children into orphanages, GGA's goal is to
keep as many children as possible in a community setting by building
them new houses and empowering grandmothers, siblings, or other
relatives to take care of them.

God's Golden Acre aims to achieve the following:
• To provide a caring, loving, nurturing and compassionate community environment.
• To provide children with a good education.
• To assist them to become well-adjusted adults.
• To develop the natural talents and aptitudes of each and every child.
